Mid-term Update from Uganda

(brief) "For the past two months it has been very hot and very dry in Jinja. The dust is everywhere and the children are having a hard time keeping their uniforms clean! "

The term began on the 27th of April and will close on the 23rd of August.
In school this term the schools hold competitions in music, dance and drama. There will also be football and netball competitions later in the term. Most of the government schools are practicing and preparing for these exciting competitions.
In nursery grade - grade two the children are learning English, math, social studies, reading, writing, sciences and art.
In grade three - grade seven they are also learning math, English, sciences, health and Christian Religious Education (CRE).
