Tharusha Sanjeewa

Tharusha is six years old, and is the third child in his family. His older sister and brother were brought with him to Kalapuwa Sri & Samudra Sri Leadership Academies. His father abandoned the family when he was young, and his mother works in a sewing factory, but is unable to earn enough to care for her three children. Born into a world where poverty and hopelessness abound, Tharusha is now being given the chance to have an education and a healthy childhood.
