Jose is an active and very obedient little girl. Her parents are employed as small scale farmers of maize. The income they receive by selling the crops is less than US$2 per day and is unsteady due to the fluctuating prices in the market. This is insufficient to meet Jose and her siblings school fees. Jose is currently studying in primary one and her favorite subject is English as she would like to improve her knowledge in this language. In her leisure time Jose loves to play with her dolls. She would like to be an English teacher when she grows old.
